The Midsize and Large Drinking Water System Infrastructure Resilience and Sustainability Program is designed to support infrastructure projects that increase the resilience of midsize and large drinking water systems to natural hazards, extreme weather events, and that reduce cybersecurity threats. This program aims to enhance the ability of a public water system to prepare for and withstand the effects of natural hazards, extreme weather events, and cyber security threats.

The Environment Protection Agency is soliciting applications from public water systems that:

Have a population between 10,000 - 100,000
Have a population of 100,000 or more

Awards & Deadlines

$9.5 million is available in funding. It is anticipated that up to 6 awards will be given. Awards will range from $1,187,500 to $2,375,000. Deadline for applications is Oct.6, 2025.
