The Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) provides funding support for target hardening and other physical security enhancements and activities to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of terrorist attacks. The intent of this program is to integrate nonprofit preparedness activities with broader state and local preparedness efforts.

The SVPP grant is an annual appropriation. Each year, the Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) office within DOJ solicits grant applications from eligible entities for tens of millions of dollars in funding.

The SSVP program implements training that will improve school climate using school-based behavioral threat assessments and/or intervention teams to identify school violence risks among students, technological solutions shown to increase school safety such as anonymous reporting technology, and other school safety strategies that assist in preventing violence.
Unlike the School Violence Prevention Program (SVPP), funds cannot be used for school hardening equipment. This program would best serve members of Axis Communications TIP program.
