Keep California Schools Safe with a Unified Approach

August 12, 2026 | Irvine, CA | 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM

About The Event

Effective school safety depends on alignment across leadership, operations, and technology. This event is designed for K–12 administrators, IT leaders, security officers, and facilities teams responsible for creating secure, well-managed campuses.

Through real-world examples, you’ll see first-hand how a more connected approach that strengthens access control, improves emergency preparedness, and addresses operational gaps can enable safety and efficiency for faster response, better visibility, and more proactive decision-making.

Join us to engage with experts, connect with peers, and leave with clear, actionable strategies to build a safer, more resilient school environment.

Workshops

From Reactive to Real-Time Response

This session explores how leading campuses are building on their existing camera infrastructure to move from traditional monitoring to real-time awareness. We’ll walk through practical use cases such as perimeter activity, loitering, weapons brandishing, and a person down, and how delivering the right context at the right time helps teams respond faster. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of how to get more value from their current systems, reduce manual workload, and improve response times without adding headcount.

Modernize School Safety with IP Audio

Discover how schools improve emergency response, strengthen situational awareness, and streamline campus safety operations. Learn how integrated network audio, visual alerts, automated lockdowns, wearable panic buttons, environmental sensors (including vape detection, weather, fire, and earthquake alerts), visitor management, and student reunification workflows work together to accelerate response times, simplify communication with staff and first responders, reduce operational complexity, and create safer, more connected learning environments.

Proactive Steps for School Safety

This session demonstrates how solutions in video monitoring, real-time communication, and controlled access fosters a safer environment that facilitates early intervention and reduced response times during incidents. Experience the actionable insights that are available with intelligent analytics and examples of how this can benefit school pick up and traffic zones, campus activity, and provide operational insights to guide informed decision-making. By leveraging these capabilities, schools can strengthen safety strategies, enhance student well-being, and create more productive, responsive campuses.

Funding School Security Initiatives

Join this focused discussion on how K-12 schools can identify and secure grant funding to support campus safety, security, and operational initiatives. This session will explore current federal and state grant opportunities, strategies for improving grant readiness, and practical guidance for navigating the application process. Attendees will gain insight into funding programs that support technologies such as video surveillance, access control, cybersecurity, emergency communications, and body-worn cameras, while learning how trusted partners can help maximize funding success.
